Brownsville ISD employees are reminded that Open Enrollment for the Sick Leave Bank will be held October 1–31.

The Sick Leave Bank provides participating employees with access to additional leave when qualifying circumstances arise and available personal leave has been exhausted.

There are two Sick Leave Bank enrollment opportunities each year:

• October 1–31
• January 1–31

Employees must enroll during one of these designated enrollment periods to become a member and be eligible to access Sick Leave Bank benefits.

Employees are encouraged to review the Sick Leave Bank information and consider whether participation may be beneficial to them and their families.
